黎巴嫩的镶嵌珠宝展
Exquisite Mosaic jewelry by a Lebanese designer is on display at the Robert Mouawad Private Museum in Beirut. Designer Nidal Haddad said it takes a lot of work to make a fine piece of mosaic jewelry.
Nidal Haddad, Designer, said, "You have to be very patient. It is very tiny, and should be cut and pasted piece by piece. It differs from paintings that can be made with one stroke."
Haddad designed a series called "Spring," in which a lot of accessories that she repaired and processed were favorites of women living in European palaces in the 19th century, such as a sapphire-inset necklace transformed from a brooch. Haddad comes from a family of artists and says she has been fond of mosaic art since young.
