The State Grid Corporation’s emergency headquarters says power supplies have been partly restored to some quake-hit areas.
Nearly half of customers in Lushan, Tianquan and Baoxing counties have had power restored. All hospitals, relief headquarters, and relocation sites and other sites are being supplied by generators.
First Lushan bank reopens after quake
The first bank branch in worst-hit Lushan county re-opened for business at 3:30 p.m. Saturday after the quake.
China’s banking regulators have asked banks to set up temporary outlets in tents to ensure people can carry out as many financial services as they need during the disaster, to ensure money supply and help Yaan return to normal.
China Development Bank is providing 200 million Yuan in loans for earthquake relief. No bank buildings are reported to have collapsed.
