西藏的电力与通信网络恢复

Relief personnel are continuing operations in areas affected in China's Tibet Autonomous Region by last week's quake and aftershocks.

With power supplies and the mobile network now restored in all parts of the region, rescue teams have turned their attention to clearing roads. Over last weekend, China's armed police successfully removed quake debris blocking the China-Nepal Highway.

Some parts of the major road in Nyalam county are still damaged, with huge rocks proving difficult for rescuers to budge.  And although rescue teams have cleared much of the road in Gyirong township, they still face the threat of landslides and falling rocks.
