京广线铁路部分恢复通车

The Beijing-Guangzhou rail-line has partially resumed after 20 hours of repairing.

It was cut off by landslides on Saturday, after days of heavy rain. 12 passenger trains were suspended, stranding thousands of passengers. Trains leaving from Guangzhou station resumed at 6 o’clock this morning.

Railway officials say operations will gradually resume over the next four days. The National weather authority says torrential rain brought by typhoon Utor will ease today.
