杜兰特为龙卷风受害者捐款100万美元

As the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore attempts to recover from Monday’s deadly tornado, Thunder star Kevin Durant...is lending a very large helping hand. Through his foundation, KD has pledged to donate one million dollars for tornado relief.

The move by Durant, proving that Oklahoma City isn’t just a place where he lives these days it is his home. Since moving to OKC five years ago when the Seattle Supersonics re-located, Durant has become a fixture in the community. He said he was hoping to return home Wednesday to try and lift the spirits of an area reeling from the deadly and mammoth Tornado. The American Red Cross said the gift from Durant’s foundation is meant to match other donations and serve as an incentive for more people to give. And it worked. The Thunder also announced a $1 million dollar donation, as did the NBA and players’ union.
