The Hainan government and local tourism bureau launched a new promotion program to entice newly weds to Sanya a city famous for its white sandy beaches and multi-ethnic culture. Hainan’s government predicts the marriage business could bring in 150 million US dollars in revenues.

They expect the program to absorb a large number of professional wedding planners to the island.
