中国重启国债期货交易
China has resumed trading in treasury bond futures today, for the first time since it was suspended in 1995.
The Securities Regulatory Commission says it has approved trading of new futures contracts on 5-year treasury bonds at the financial futures exchange. Previously, treasury bond futures were traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
According to the financial futures exchange, a minimum security deposit is set at two percent of contract value, and contracts will only allowed fluctuating within a two-percent ceiling and two-percent floor each trading day. The financial futures exchange said it would impose high standards, ensure a stable start and complete preparations in an orderly manner.
