委内瑞拉驱逐美国外交官
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro says his government is expelling three US diplomats for allegedly conspiring with the political opposition and seeking to destabilize the nation.
Maduro made the announcement during a live TV appearance and said the top US diplomat and two other embassy employees would have 48 hours to leave the country. He said he doesn’t care what actions the US government would take in response. Venezuela is not going to permit any actions to stop basic necessities in the country.
The US Embassy in Caracas did not have any immediate comment on the announcement. The last time Venezuela expelled US diplomats was in March, when it ejected two military attaches for allegedly trying to destabilize the nation.
