互联网金融与O2O引领2014互联网趋势

2014-01-09来源:CCTV9

2013 was a record breaking year for Chinese e-commerce as well as internet finance. What will be the new trends for the internet industry in the new year? This is a topic discussed at this year’s China Internet Conference.

In an ecosystem growing as fast as China’s internet industry, anything can happen in just one year. Thats especially true when it comes to internet finance.

For the first time in history, Chinese people can pick among online, non-government options for financial services. These include money market funds like Yuebao and Baifa, microfinancing, p2p and p2c lending, as well as insurance from Zhong An insurance and e-wallet.

Many say that more decentralized consumer finance will continue to be the biggest trend for 2014.

As China is set to surpass the US in terms of largest number of mobile internet users, the country’s online to offline market will become a dominant factor.

Even though the O2O space has already grown quickly in the past year, analysts say there is much room for expansion.

4G enabled services and devices is also one to watch. China Mobile plans to sell 100 million 4G smartphones in 2014, that means more money spent on data plans.
