《蜘蛛侠》与《沉睡魔咒》的票房竞争

Fans of costumed web slingers can rejoice as the latest trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" has just been released. The release coincides with the trailer for Angelina Jolie's new picture, "Maleficent", featuring a new-look Jolie as the famed fairytale villain.

Spider-Man 2's new trailer shows off more of the movie's humor, high-flying special effects and fights with supervillains. The sequel sees Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey, joined once again by Dane DeHaan as Peter's old friend Harry Osborn. And Jamie Foxx joins the cast as new villain Electro.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will be released in cinemas internationally from the middle of April.

While the eerie and darkly lit preview of "Maleficent" features a pale-faced Jolie, playing the famed villain in Disney's live-action retelling of "Sleeping Beauty." With icy green eyes and bright red lips, the titular character terrorizes young princess Aurora, played by Elle Fanning.

Previous trailers of the film offered scant visions of the star, but in this version she speaks throughout and displays a never-before-seen look as a bird-like creature with wings.

Jolie is not the only member of her famous family to appear in the film. The superstar's daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, portrays a young version of Aurora who is cursed to sleep until awoken by a kiss from a handsome prince.

"Maleficent" is scheduled for release in May.
