Not so positive is the latest news from Cameroon as the country’s World Cup squad refused to board their plane to Brazil on Sunday due to a pay dispute.

The Indomitable Lions had been negotiating with their Football Association for several weeks, but according to coach Volker Finke, an agreement has finally been reached. The team is now expected to arrive at their training base in Vitoria in the next few hours. One fan, who had been awaiting the side’s arrival outside their hotel for two days, said he was "really disappointed" that they had not yet landed.

"I’m really disappointed because I’ve been here two days, and I’m waiting for my team to come here, and now I’m here. They’re not coming here because of the money. I’m so sorry for that. I feel bad you know." Cameroon fan Tchougwa Armand said.
