The World Cup is an addiction for tons of people, both fans and players. Action on and off the pitch has provided fans with many memorable moments. We talk to some Chinese football fans, who gave us their picks.

"The Chilean miners video impressed me most. We know that four years ago there was a mining tragedy in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. In the commercial, the 32 rescued miners, who survived a record 69 days underground, stand together to support their team. They say we don’t fear the Group of Death. We don’t care about death, because we have defeated death before!

"When Germany shut out Portugal 4-nil in the opening round, I can see from Ronaldo’s eyes that he felt so sad and frustrated. I was so impressed. He’s not that young, suffering a knee injury, but he’s still playing in the game."

"When the Netherland’s Arjen Robben toyed with the Spanish defense, the goalkeeper Iker Casillas was scampering on the ground to catch the ball. I felt sad for the Saint, the best goalkeeper in the world. He played so hard, but was still thrashed 5-1. It was really frustrating."

"It was Neymar. When the Brazilian football team was training, a kid ran onto the field, hoping to take photos with the team. Instead of security taking the kid off, Neymar posed for a picture with him and introduced him to the rest of the team. This really touched me. It’s Neymar again to make a little fan’s dream come true. The superstar knows the true meaning of football. He knows football stars and fans are one."
