微软被质疑销售信息不透明
Microsoft is grabbing headlines-- but for the wrong reasons. The tech giant is facing an antitrust probe about how it bundles its software in China.
Investigators from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) say, they suspect Microsoft of not being fully transparent with information about its Windows and Office sales. The investigation will focus on the company’s internet browser and media player.
Microsoft has expressed willingness to cooperate. In late July, regulators paid sudden visits to the company’s offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu, and spoke with staff on some issues. The Chinese probe echoes earlier anti-trust complaints in Western markets about how Microsoft sells its software programs.
