中国教科书的选用制度

China’s education ministry has issued interim procedures for elementary and high-school textbook selection. The procedures are to prevent the frequent turnover of textbooks and to minimise corruption in the selection process.

The Ministry of Eduction will take charge of policy-making regarding textbook selection nationwide. However, each provincial administration will take charge of textbook selection in their province. The procedures stipulate that at least half of the selection committee members should be teachers, and publishers,who have influence in textbook compiling,should not be involved. Textbooks should not be changed within one education cycle, unless they violate the interim procedures or they’re not fit for purpose.
