春节期间预计超过600万人海外旅游

Many Chinese people choose to travel abroad this year during the upcoming 7-day Spring Festival holiday.

Authorities estimate there will be over 6 million overseas trips made during the period, marking a record high of people going abroad during the Chinese traditional festival.

Analysts say this surge in people going abroad is because of more overseas flights and people's rising consumption power. Another key reason is more countries have better visa policies for Chinese citizens, including extended visa validity periods, simplified applying procedures and lower application fees.
