篮协正式确认宫鲁鸣回归

Chinese men's national basketball have been preparing for this Summer's Olympics without a head coach. Gong Luming's status had been up in the air, as he was trying to work out the details of a new contract. And the man, who led China to the Asian Championship title late last year is back in the fold.

The Chinese Basketball Association -- no relation to the league of the same name -- declared its list of players for the national team -- and that also include the coach -- who will be Gong Luming. He returns to run the team after finalizing a new deal. Gong's assistants will include Li Nan, Cui Wanjun, Hu Xuefeng, Wu Qinglong and Greek coach Yannis Christopoulos. Earlier the Chinese Basketball Association, released a list of 23 players invited to training camp. The 12-man Olympic team will be comprised of the players named from that list.
