美国大选早期投票愈加关键
The U.S. presidential election is only a few days away, and now the race for the White House is all about turnout in the key states. A bad sign for Hillary Clinton is that African American voters, whom she is counting on, are not early voting in the numbers Democrats hope for. Steve Handelsman has the story from Washington.
Hillary Clinton needs a big turnout in the swing states. That, in Tampa, Joe Biden said would beat Donald Trump.
"You guys win Florida. It's just done over. There's no path," said Vice president Joe Biden.
This was Broward county today: enthusiam for Clinton among African-Americans, but the turnout of black voters is down. In Florida, where 4 million people have early-voted, black turnout is down even more in swing state North Carolina, compared to the records set when president Obama ran.
"She's not that different candidate and she's not African-American," said talk show host Roland Martin.
A huge young diverse crowd lined up in Chapel Hill North Carolina to see president Obama try to motivate better turnout.
Obama said, "We don't win this election potentially if we don't win North Carolina. So I hate to put pressure on you but the fate of the Republic rests on your shoulders."
Back in Florida, young African-Americans showed up to back Trump.
Trump said, "You can beat the system the rigged system and deliver justice."
