Kai-Fu Lee is a Taiwanese IT venture capitalist, executive, writer, and computer scientist. He is currently based in Beijing, China. In 2011, Kai-Fu Lee voluntarily relinquished his U.S. citizenship, in favor of a passport issued by Taiwan and a permanent residency from mainland China.
