英语相互代词用法三注意

1. 相互代词的形式与用法

英语的相互代词只有each other和one another。按传统语法，each other指两人间的相互关系，one another指多个人之间的相互关系，但在现代英语中两者也可互换使用。

2. 相互代词的句法功能

在现代英语中，相互代词只用作宾语，不能，不用作主语或状语。如：

We have known each other for many years. 我们已认识多年了。

They live in good neighborhood with one another. 他们邻里关系十分和睦。

注：由于相互代词不用主语，所以用反身代词作宾语的动词不能转换成被动语态。

3. 相互代词的所有格

相互代词的所有格形式为each other’s, one another’s。如：

It was so dark that they couldn’t see each other's faces. 天是那样黑，他们看不见彼此的脸。
