are deserving of是进行时态吗

I think, too, it is important to recognize this almost always happens among men. And among men who feel like they aren't able to achieve the kinds of status that they would like or that they are deserving of and that is not just a threat to them, you know, to their sense of what they deserve based on their class status. But it is a threat to what they feel they deserve as men.

为什么是用进行时呢(are deserving of)

(be) deserving of 的意思是“值得……

He’s deserving of praise.

His efforts are certainly deserving of praise.

It’s a pretty suspect outfit, deserving of the consistent bagging it gets from customers.

She deserves death.=She is deserving of death.

原句是一个比较口语化的句子(出自美国之音),And among men who feel like…

And among men…是一个介词短语;

who feel like they aren't able to achieve the kinds of status是一个定语从句,修饰名词men;

that they would like or that they are deserving of是两个并列的定语从句(用连词or连接),修饰名词status;

(and) that is not just a threat to them 是一个独立的句子,用and与前面的成分并列;

And among men who feel like they aren't able to achieve the kinds of status that they would like or that they are deserving of and that is not just a threat to them
