　　I remember having many toys in my childhood and in different stages of mychildhood I prefered different toys. But among them the digital art board was avery special one to me and I played with this special toy for more than 3-4years as I recall.

　　This was a gift from my father on occasion of my 5th or 6th birthday. Itlooked like a white board which was approximately 14x10 inch in dimension. Thescreen was white and there were 5-6 buttons to operate the digital art board. Adigital pen or stylus type pen was attached to it for painting. This styluscould be placed at the right side of the board. The board was similar to amiddle size notebook and was light weight.

　　I had a fascination about the toy when I first saw it at a superstore. Iasked the salesman what the price was and how this can be used. He describedthat I can draw picture in this board, edit them, save them and reopen the savedpictures anytime I like.

　　There was a built-in memory and the user can store up to 10 thousanddrawing. The colour and pen tool makes the painting easy. He also told thatthere are some premade design and template that would help the user to draw apicture. He then added, though this would cost a bit high but it is the digitalversion of the painting brush, canvas and colours.

　　At that time I was around 5-6 years old and the toy really mesmerized me. Ihad a hidden desire to own it one day. I dreamed to art and save so many artsand painting and save them for long. Since I had passion on painting, I thoughtthe toy would be a perfect one for me. I told my father about my fascination ofthis toy and few days later he gave this toy as my birthday gift. I was so happyto have it.

　　This toy was important to me because I have longed for it and that was aspecial gift from my father. I remember playing with it till I was 10-11 yearsold and I have painted lots of things on it. As a kid that was a fascinating andexciting toy for me.
