解析：很多人不认识"espionage"这个单词的意思，通过破折号引出的解释说明部分，不难理解它的意思是"间谍"。

例句：How lucky the girls nowadays are!--they can go anywhere,say anything.

译文：如今的女孩子多幸福啊！她们哪儿都能去，什么话都能说。

二、概括总结
