Ting:So John, have you ever been to China before?
Ting: John 你以前来过中国吗？

John:No, I haven’t. This is the first time I have been to China.
John:从来没有，这是第一次。

Ting:Have you travelled to many other countries?
Ting:你去过很多国家吗？

John:To be honest, I have never been to an Asian country before but I have visited many countries in Europe.
John:老实说，我从来没去过亚洲，但是我去过很多欧洲的国家。

Ting:What about America? Have you ever been to the United States?
Ting:那美国呢？你去过吗？

John:Actually, I haven’t been to the states but I have been to Canada.
John:我其实没去过美国，但是我去过加拿大。
