M: Come in, please.
M：请进。

W: Good morning! I am Anna Lu. I've come for an interview which was arranged.
W：早上好，我是Anna，我来参加安排好的面试。

M: Oh, I see. I am Jack White, Personnel Manager. Take a seat, please.
M：哦，知道了。我是Jack，人力资源部经理，请坐。

W: Glad to meet you, Mr. White.
W：很高兴见到您，Mr. White。

M: Miss Lu, have you got any experience in restaurant service?
M：Miss Lu，你有餐厅服务的经验吗？

W: Yes. Since I entered college, I have been working at a fast food restaurant as a part-time waitress.
W：有过，从我上大学开始，我就在一家快餐店做兼职女服务员。

M: For how long?
M：工作了多长时间？

W: 3 years.

W：三年。

M: Our restaurant receives a lot of foreign customers. Can you serve them in English?

M：我们餐厅有许多外国客人，你能用英语为他们服务吗？

W: That's why I applied for this job. Now I am studying Hotel English in my college, and I am quite familiar with the western courtesy and restaurant etiquette. I am sure my public relation skills will leave a strong impression on your customers.

W：这就是我来应聘的原因。现在我正在我们学校学习宾馆英语，另外我很熟悉西方礼貌礼节。我相信我的公关技巧会给您的客人留下深刻的印象。

M: You must know our working hours are very long and overtime work is frequent.
M：你得知道我们的工作时间很长，而且加班是常有的事。

W: I don't mind that.
W：我不介意。

M: I think I will give you a 3 months’ trial. The salary for this period is 800 yuan a month with no bonus. After that period if we both feel satisfied, a formal contract would be signed.

M：我想我可以给你三个月的试用期，试用期内每月工资是800元，没有奖金。试用期起过后，如果我们双方都满意的话，我们就可以签订正式合同了。

W: When am I supposed to start working?
W：我什么时候可以开始工作？

M: Next monday. Bring your resume and diploma with you.

M：下星期一，带上你的简历和文凭。

W: Yes, I will. Thank you, Mr. White. Goodbye!
W：好的，谢谢您，Mr. White，再见。

M: Goodbye!
