W: Can I borrow these magazines?
W：我能借阅这些杂志吗？

M: Fill in the slip, then take it to the circulation desk. They will get you what you want.
M：填好这张纸条，然后拿到借阅处那里去，他们会给你你想要的书。

W: Are we allowed to go into the stacks to look for books?

W：我们能自己到书库里面去找吗？

M: Sorry, the stacks are closed to undergraduate students.

M：对不起，书库是不对本科生开放的。

注释：

“be动词 + allowed + to do sth.”表示“被允许做某事”。若表示“允许某人做某事”则用“allow sb. To do sth.”结构。
