Steven is an excellent player, but yesterday he lost the game. Now he is talking about it with his friend John.
史蒂文是一名优秀的运动员，但是昨天他却在比赛中失利了。现在他正在和约翰谈论此事。

John: Steven, would you like to go dance with us tonight?
约翰：史蒂文，今晚和我们一起去跳舞怎么样？

Steven: John, I am just not in the mood for this.

John: You look so upset. What's going on?
约翰：你看起来很沮丧，怎么回事？

Steven: I lost the table tennis game yesterday.

John: Oh, what a pity!

Steven: I just don’t want to play table tennis any more．

John: Is it that bad? It’s nothing more than a game．

Steven: My opponent bowled me with the very first ball. I was wondering if it's appropriate for me to play table tennis.

John: Oh, come on! Failure is the mother of success. Don’t lose heart. l*m sure you'll succeed．

Steven: Perhaps you are right. But I still need some time to recover from the failure.
