Steven is mother has got a serious disease. Now he is asking the doctor about his mother's condition,
史蒂文的母亲得了严重的疾病，此刻他正在向医生咨询母亲的病情。

Steven: Doctor, may I ask my mother’s condition?
史蒂文：医生，我可以问问我母亲的病情吗？

Doctor: Well, you'd better sit down for this. It has been terminal lung cancer.
医生：你要有心理准备，她已经是肺癌晚期了。

Steven: Oh my god. Please save her life.
史蒂文：天哪，请你救救她。

Doctor: We’ll try our best, but you'd better prepare for the worst.
医生：我们会尽力的。不过，你要做好最坏的打算。

Steven: I see, doctor. But I plead you to help her.
史蒂文：我知道，医生。但我求你帮帮她！

Doctor: I have said that we will try our best. You can trust us. But you know her situation.
医生：我已经说过我们会尽力的，你可以信任我们，但是你知道她的情况。

Steven: How long do you expect her to live?
史蒂文：那她最多还能活多久？

Doctor: About half a year.
医生：大概半年吧。
