如何利用5分钟的美剧片段学英语呢？

1. Get set with a pen, notebook (or a word editor) and a dictionary.
准备一支笔，笔记本（或文字编辑器）和一本字典。

2. Choose a scene, no longer than five minutes.
选择一个视频场景，不要超过5分钟。

3. Watch the scene in English, without subtitles. Try to write down the words and expressions that you understood.
观看该英文场景，不要字幕。试着写下你理解的单词和词组。

4. Watch this scene in English, without subtitles, again. Write a little paragraph (in English or your mother tongue) about what's happening.
再看一次这个场景，不要字幕。总结一下发生了什么（英语或者你的母语）。

5. Now watch the scene with the subtitles in your language. Compare the scene script with the words and the paragraph you wrote down.
现在带着母语字幕观看这段场景。比较一下这个脚本和你写下的单词和词组。

6. Watch the scene in English, without subtitles, a third time. Try to write down more words and expressions that you understand. You can stop as often as you wish.
第三遍看这段场景，不带字幕。试着写下更多你理解的单词和词组。你想什么时候停都可以。

7. Now watch the scene with subtitles in English without pausing the video. Try to add more words and expressions to your list. Up to this point, don't use your dictionary.
现在带着英文字幕看这段场景，不要暂停。试着在你的本子上写出更多的单词和词组。到目前为止，不要使用字典。

8. Watch the scene again with the subtitles in English and pause to add new words and expressions. You don't need to write full sentences, only new words and expressions that are new to you.
再一次带着英文字幕看这段场景，暂停去增加新单词和词组。不用写出完整的句子，只用写下对你来说陌生的单词和表达。

9. After you've watched the scene six times in English, try to infer the meaning of the words and expressions you wrote down. If you can't, use your monolingual dictionary if you're an intermediate/advanced student, or a bilingual dictionary if you're a beginner.
在你看完六遍后，试着推断出你写下来的单词和表达的意思。如果推断不出来，中高级水平的学生可以用你的单语字典（英英字典），初学者就用双语字典（对于咱们来说就是英汉字典了）。

10. Remember, whenever possible, write down the new words and expressions within the context. For example, on a Glee episode, I saw the characters use the collocation “brutally honest”many times, so I wrote it down.
记住，只要有可能，写下新单词和表达的语境。例如，《欢乐合唱团》一集中，我看到了人物多次使用“brutally honest”这个表达，所以我把它写下来了。

口语中，经常会用一些缩略词：gonna 代替going to；wanna 代替want to或want a；还有“She just woke up” 代替“She has just woken up.”

注意：这些都是口语表达，非正式（informal），所以写作文时不要用哦，但用在口语上会显得更地道。

Speaking 说

在你看了一部电影或一集美剧后，你可以假装自己正在告诉别人这一集发生了什么。尽可能的说出细节。重复上述操作，然后再说一遍，顺便查下你还不会的新单词，继续练习。

Writing 写

与“说”一样，你可以把之前看片段时写下的的单词用起来，写几段关于这一集发生的事。如果可以，找别人看看你写的文章给你反馈——老师或语言能力更好的朋友。

你也可以用自己的话来重现某些场景的对话，不需要用原话。你也可以基于原来的对话创建一个新的对话，给出一个新结局。

Listening and Reading 听和读

我忍不住要说，听和读在你的英语学习过程中可以创造奇迹。你听读的越多，学到的单词和遇到的语法就越多。更不用说学习语言也是学习这个国家的文化，这些文化都在电影和剧中。这是一个大亮点！

记住，学习需要时间和贯彻到底，不要漫不经心。慢慢来，享受这个过程，如果累了，停下来，散散步，喝口水，然后接着学。

不要觉得5分钟的视频很短哦，你可以试试，五分钟可以说很多话。当然你不要选那些好几分钟都没一句台词的场景。学英语有些步骤是绕不过去的，比如背单词，但是如何有效的背单词是我们可以选择的！方法我给，行动靠你！听、读的输入很重要。说、写的输出才是王道！毕竟，英语是拿来用的，加油吧！
