Hello! This is Tom.
= Hello! Tom speaking.
= Hello! This is Tom speaking.
喂！我是汤姆。
电话里说明自己的身份时，多用“This is...”的句式，而不用“I am...”。

This is him.
= That's me.
= This is him speaking.
我就是。

Who's that speaking, please?
= Who's speaking?
=May I ask who is calling?
=Who is that?
请问您是哪一位？
A：Can I speak to Tom?
我能和汤姆通话吗？
