[误] I wouldn't advise you taking the car --there's nowhere to park.

[正] I wouldn't advise taking the car --there's nowhere to park.

讲解：advise, allow,forbid 和permit 等动词，既可后接动名词，也可后接不定式。当后接动名词，动名词前不用表示人的宾语，若后接不定式，则要用表示人的宾语。总之，要表示“劝某人做某事”这个意思时，常用的结构是advise sb. to do sth.，不是advise sb. doing sth.，但可说advise doing sth.。要表示“劝某人不要做某事”时，常用的结构是advise sb. against sth. 或advise sb. against doing sth.。
