M: 95 dollars including tax.

W: Could I have a look at the room?

M: Sure, come this way, please.

Dialogue 2.

M: Do you have a double room with twin beds?

W: Have you booked in advance?

M: No, I haven’t.

W: OK, and we do have a double room with twin beds available.

M: What’s the daily rate?

W: 60 dollars a night.

M: Is hot water available any time?

W: Yes, sir. Would you fill in this registration form, please?

M: Could you show me something less expensive?

W: Yes, of course. Right this way, please.

Dialogue 3.

W: Do you have any vacancies?

M: Yes, we have a nice room on the fourth floor.

W: How much is it?

M: 85 dollars a night plus tax.

W: OK. Does it include breakfast?

M: Yes, man. And could I have you name?

W: Mary Lee.

M: How long do you want to stay?

W: 8 days. And could you send a bill hop to pick up my luggage?

M: Sure. We will be there in a few minutes.

W: Could you keep my valuables?

M: We’d like to. You may call the attendant if you need any help.

Dialogue 4.

M: Do you have a single room available for 2 nights?

W: I am afraid not, sir. We only have a small suite.

M: All right. I’ll take it. And what’s the rate?

W: 50 dollars a night including breakfast.

M: Do you have laundry service?

W: Yes, we do. You may put your clothe into the wash bag in your room and a laundry man is here to collect it.

M: Thank you. Could you show it to me, please?

W: Of course. Just follow me.

Dialogue 5.

M: I’d like to check out now, please. Here is my key. Would you please settle the account for me?

W: OK, sir.

M: Could you bring my baggage down to the lobby?

W: I am always at your service. What time are you leaving?

M: At 9 o’clock and I have 3 pieces of baggage.

W: Please leave them outside your room later.

M: Would you get my bill ready?

W: I’ll be right here with you. Here is your bill, sir. Please have a look.

M: Excuse me. What’s this charge?

W: Oh, that’s for laundry.

M: Here is 180 dollars. Please keep the change.

W: Thanks.
