1. tend to do
倾向于某事;
eg. His novels tend to be very samey.
他的小说有非常枯燥乏味的倾向。
eg. Such jokes tend to reinforce racial stereotypes.

2. specialize in
专门从事;专门经营;专门研究;专攻;
eg. The bakers specialize in catering for large parties.
那些面包师专门负责为大型宴会提供食品。
eg. Graduate students specialize in a particular field of study.
研究生专攻一个专门的学术领域。
3. correspond to
相类似;相关;相对应;
eg. Racegoers will be given a number which will correspond to a horse running in a race.
观看赛马比赛的观众将获得一个与某一匹赛马相对应的号码。
eg. His expenses do not correspond to his income.

4. care about
关心;在乎;在意;
eg. Joe Sixpack doesn't care about that.

5. mix up
