      In recent years getting through the security check at the airport has become a chore. In some cities, the whole process can take fifteen to twenty minutes or more.  近几年来，机场的安检是件麻烦事。在一些城市，安检整个过程可能会耽搁15到20分钟。

      This includes standing in line, sending your bags through the X-ray machine, and walking through a metal detector, which "detects" or finds any metal you might have hidden on your body. Most security checks thus require passengers to take metal items out of their pockets and put them on a tray—or flat container—to send through the X-ray machine. Some countries—notably the United States—may even insist that passengers remove their coats and shoes.  整个过程包括排队，把自己的包放进X光扫描机，走过能够检测出你可能随身隐藏的金属金属探测器。安检大多要求乘客把金属物件从身上拿出来放到一个托盘上，或者是一个平的容器内，或者让它通过X光的检测。某些国家，尤其是美国，甚至坚持让乘客脱掉外套和鞋子。

      And of course it' s not just airports that have high security, more and more tourist attractions are "beefing up" or increasing their security too. So negotiating security checks is a good skill to practice.  当然，除了在机场，其他也有需要高度安检的地方。越来越多的旅游胜地也大大加强了安检力度。因此安检的探讨也是需要践行的。

      In this episode, Honesto and Alan are on their way home. They arrive at the airport late, so they are anxious about missing their flight.
