赶紧;赶快;
eg. We are pressed for time; we must hurry up.
我们时间紧迫,必须加紧。
eg. You must hurry up or you cannot finish it in time.
你必须赶紧些,否则不能及时完成。
2. put one's money where one's mouth is
用行动证明自己的话;说到做到;说给钱就给钱;
eg. The government might be obliged to put its money where its mouth is to prove its commitment.
政府也许会被迫付出行动,以兑现承诺。
eg. If you're so sure of yourself, why don't you put your money where your mouth is.
如果你对自己那么有把握,为什么你不能说到做到呢?
3. for real
真实地;真正地;不是假装;
eg. He says he's got a new bike, but I don't know if that's for real.
他说他已买了一辆新自行车,但我不知道是否真有其事。
eg. I don't think her tears were for real.
我认为她的眼泪不是真的。
