1. 女学生的宿舍中间有违禁的东西，电水壶已经被不知道怎么样了，因为可能起火。当然最大的问题还是那个比规定的5 立方米大了整整一倍的电冰箱。学生说我在别人那里买的，怎么她都没事？结果那个人住的地方比较特别，不太遵守类似的规定。学生继续抱怨，说自己找了好几个人抬上三楼，都没人管。最后说，不然你把它卖了，不然你把它留下，但是要搬出你的宿舍。
2. 鸟类的行为。有一种雄鸟为了交配会筑巢，很漂亮的。有各种装饰，一般都是浅蓝色的。分别介绍了三种形式的小房子，从最简单到最复杂的。然后雄鸟吸引雌鸟注意之后，还会表演……P 不解的说，不知道为什么这些雄鸟为什么花这么大的功夫，而且不知道这是后天习得的，还是先天的行为。
3. 环境工程课程，讲可再生资源和不可再生资源。讲了现在的可再生资源有太阳能，简单的介绍了下，局限性是地域的光照时间和强度（有题）。然后是风能的利用，局限是风不稳定，储存困难（有题），很难做主要供电方式，但可以做secondary；而且风车的那个叶片可能会打到鸟类（有题）。最后又讲了海洋能的利用，先是说潮汐tide的涨落，需要建坝增加水位差，一定水位差后开闸发电；然后学生提问了海洋热能的利用，教授说是很好的方向，有一定的应用，还介绍了什么设备（有题）。

TIDAL ENERGY
Every drop of water in the ocean, even in the deepest parts, responds to the forces that create the tides. No other force that affects the sea is so strong.
Compared with the tides, the waves created by the wind are surface movements felt no more than a hundred fathoms below the surface.
The currents also seldom involve more than the upper several hundred fathoms despite their impressive sweep.
Tide is the periodic rise and fall of oceans and other waters of the earth in response to the gravitational forces of the moon and the sun. There are one or two high tides and one or two low tides each day.
This energy can be captured by closing a bay with a dam. As the tide rises, the bay fills with water. At high tide, the dam is closed to hold the water in the bay. At low tide, the stored water is released through a turbine to generate electric power.
The chief disadvantage of tidal power plants is that they can produce energy only during falling tides. Also, the plants can be built in few places.
4. 一个女学生要参加一个论文比赛，跟P 探讨自己的作文。开始她不愿意说自己的主题，后来P 说我不会打分，于是就说论文主要写勃朗特姐妹的事情，有提自己和姐姐交换日记的往事。教授说你好像对英国文学很感兴趣，下学期我有一个课，有意思，你来上吧。学生不领情，说自己会专心记者新闻方面。
5. 蒙特利梭的教育。意思就是让学生更creative，然后让学生自己选择教室里的玩具啊什么的。提到了有一种block，可以在搭积木的过程中学习一些skill，比如math 之类。 然后还提到了教师的role。有学生认为运用这种教育方法，老师要干嘛呢？教授说这个是个好问题。但是，老师这个角色也不容易，需要很多种专业知识之类。采集者退散

该文化比较独特，特别是它的石像。该石像把archaeologist shock 了，因为做它们的石头都很硬，而xx 人的工具都没有这种硬度，所以很shock。然后说这种石像有一个helmet，但是professor 又说这些可能不是warrior武士，而是一种ball game 的防护。他说了其他文化有类似的防护。然后pro 又说xx人崇拜猫，而从这种石像上可以看到猫的痕迹，嘴。而猫在xx 人看来比较伟大，所以是ruler 的象征，因此pro 说石像可能是ruler 的象征。这时就有了矛盾，到底是ball game 还是ruler，pro 也没给个所以然。最后还说，学history 要学习其他circle 的东西，才能融会贯通。
