Introduction

Mac OS X is the most technologically advanced operating system by Apple. The use of soft edges, translucent colors and pinstripes (similar to the hardware of the first iMacs) brought more color and texture to the windows and controls on the desktop which is what windows lack.. Thats the reason why many windows user have a great desire to emulate Mac OS X on the windows. There is a large portion in Desktop Customization community that focus on how to emulate Mac OS X. This community is call Aqua Community. This guide will help you change your Windows XP to Mac OS X.

Chapter 1: The Appearances - In this chapter, I will show you how you can change the default Windows XP appearance to Mac OS X appearance using few software

Chapter 2: The Menu Bar - In this chapter, I will show you how can you put the menu bar on top of your windows desktop, like the one in Mac OS X

Chapter 3: The Finder - In this chapter, you can learn about a core element in Mac OS X, finder and how you can have the finder on your windows.

Chapter 4: The Icons - In this chapter, I will show you how to change the default Windows XP icons to Mac OS X icons.

Chapter 5: The Dock - The emulation is not complete without a dock, so in this chapter, I can show you a few docks for windows that realy looks similar to Mac OS X dock

Chapter 6: The Dashboard - Dashboard is a new feature in Mac OS X, but we already have lots of them for windows. So, don't forget to check this chapter to get dashboard widgets for windows.

Chapter 7: The Skins - There is a few applications in windows that you can change the looks to Mac OS X applications by just changing its skins.

But while you may be able to change the icons on Explorer's toolbar, or get rid of that annoying Windows throbber, no single utility can do it all. None, that is, until now with the release of Flyakite OSX 2.0.

Chapter 10: The Utilities - After you had make a lot of changes to your windows desktop to make it looks like Mac OS X, there is a few applications/utilties that you still really need to make it more accurate.
