The Illusion of Failure

2008-03-25来源:

The most dangerous thing is illusion.
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Failure is impossible.
~ Susan B. Anthony

In the process of gaining momentum, there may be moments where you feel like nothing is going on. You are taking the action, but nothing seems to be happening. Using the analogy of the bodybuilder let's say that he/she has started to go for two weeks, but that body still is not sculpted the way they want it to be. Is that a failure? The person cannot look deep within the body to see the actual change going on, but sure enough, it's happening the whole time.

Every time you take action and are gaining momentum, you are creating the causes for the future effects that you want to reap. They are all causes set in motion. You do not immediately see a change on the outside, but that does not constitute failure. Something is happening! If you look at it clearly you will see that something else is also changing: your concept of yourself! As you start to pick up the disciplines, your sense of self worth increases! Where then is the failure? Realize that your idea of failure is an illusion at this stage.

You may not see the final ultimate outcome as yet, but something is working beneath and will show up in due time. Don't let this period of action turn to inaction. The surest way for a bodybuilder to not get his/her ultimate physique is to stop the regimen thinking that they've failed. In the same light, the only way for success in life is to maintain the action; to keep the action going on! Gain more momentum and take your life to another level!

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FAILURE AT THIS STAGE, YOUR FRUIT IS RIPENING - SOONER OR LATER IT WILL BE READY! THE CONCEPT OF FAILURE AT THIS STAGE IS AN ILLUSION!

There's no such thing as failure. Mistakes happen in your life to bring into focus more clearly who you really are. --Oprah Winfrey
