Liu Xiang, Hero Of Heroes

　　由美国《时代》杂志亚洲版评选的2004年亚洲英雄榜4日出炉，20位40岁以下的亚洲英雄当选，奥运会110米栏金牌得主刘翔高居该榜第一名。《时代》周刊评价刘翔说：“他是一个更深层次、更感情化的标志，他代表所有亚洲人都引以为豪的品质：对成功执着的追求。”

The 2004 Asian heroes chosen by Time Magazine's Asia version have been announced, with Chinese hurdler and Athens Olympic champion Liu Xiang topping the list.

All the 20 Asian heroes and heroines are under the age of 40. Liu Xiang was chosen for his extraordinary performance at the Athens Olympic Games and winning Asia's first 110 meter hurdles gold. The list also includes Japanese baseball star Ichiro Suzuki, who set the record of single season singles in the MLB and Tan Yuanyuan, chief dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. This is the third year for Time Asian Version to choose Asian Heroes.
