3D大片为票房争抢放映时间

　　Warner Bros., a division of Time Warner Inc., surprised the industry when it announced earlier this year that it was in the process of converting 'Clash of the Titans' to 3-D just months before its release date.

　　At the time, some exhibitors said Warner Bros. said it was prepared to withhold other films from theaters that wouldn't make room for 'Clash,' though Warner Bros. denied that.

　　Warner Bros. is hoping to get ahead of the pack by opening 'Clash' on Thursday rather than Friday. 'By opening Thursday night, we can get the fanboys in early to spark word-of-mouth,' says Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros.
