And the Victorian premier has warned Melburnians against getting their hopes up about the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. The state recorded just 12 new infections yesterday, but Daniel Andrews says he won't be making any major announcements on Sunday, when the city is due to move to the next step in the re-opening roadmap. Mr Andrews will front the inquiry into the state's hotel quarantine program later today, following the health minister's appearance, in which she joined a growing list of officials saying they don't know who made the decision to use private security guards.
