At least 6 people are dead after a series of random shootings in western Michigan. 45-year old Jason Dalton of Kalamazoo County was arrested early Sunday in connection with the shooting.

Syrian media reports at least 50 people are dead and at least 200 are injured after 3 bombs went off in a Shiite suburb of Damascus. The Islamic state group claimed responsibility for the blasts.

Officials in Fiji are accessing the damage after a ferocious cyclone tore through the Pacific island chain. The cyclone left at least 3 people dead and destroyed hundreds homes. Winds reaches up to 177 miles per hour.
