AP News:希拉里和特朗普继续领跑初选

Voters in 4 states are casting ballots in the latest round of president primary. Michigan is considered the crown jewel of Tuesday's contests. Front runner Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are pulling ahead there and looking to solidify their leads. 

Vice president Joe Biden touched down in Israel Tuesday for meetings with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. His arrivals came hours after Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled the proposed meeting with president Barack Obama in Washington later this month. Biden will meet with Netanyahu on Wednesday.

Federal meteorologists say the past winter is the hottest in U.S history, thanks to the combination of El Nino and man-made global warming. The average temperature for the lower 48 states from December through February was 36.8 degrees, 4.6 degrees above normal.

And the Denver zoo says one of its critically endangered western lowland gorilla gave birth last month to a baby girl, named Whimsie Adepa.
