Secretary of state John Kerry and foreign ministers from the G7 industrialized nations are meeting in Hiroshima, Japan. They visited a memorial for the atomic bombing Hiroshima that became the end of World War II.
CIA director John Brennan says his agency will not use waterboarding or other so-called "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques", even if a future president orders it. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and senator Ted Cruz have said they might end the ban on waterboarding.

Police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana say two men exchanged gunfire, killing 2 female college students on Sunday. Authorities are trying to determine who fired the fatal shot.
And the university of Connecticut women's basketball team got a victory parade in downtown Hartford. The team won a 4th straight NCAA Championship last week.
