President Donald Trump met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the White House Friday. He told reporters he strongly supports NATO, but that allies "must pay what they owe." President also said the White House shouldn't be blamed for quoting a cable television news analyst who accused British intelligence of helping former president Barack Obama spy on the current president.
HHS Secretary Tom Price spent part of the morning on Capitol Hill, trying to rally Republicans behind the GOP leadership's health care overhaul. President Trump is predicting the bill will soon pass the House, but some Republicans are demanding changes.
In Peru, at least 65 people are dead. The death toll is climbing due to mudslides and severe flooding. Peru's president says the country's coastal region hasn't seen this sort of devastation in nearly 20 years.
Color New York City green with Irish pride as residents and tourists turned out for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Participants marched the long Fifth Avenue, while police kept a close eye on security.
