Secretary of Defense James Mattis says the threat of a nuclear missile attack by Pyongyang is accelerating, adding the US will never accept a nuclear North Korea. He made the comments as he met with officials in Seoul.

One person is dead, several others were injured when an SUV crossed the center line of a highway and struck a bus carrying a high school football team following a game in Southern Pennsylvania. Local station WHP reports the motorist driving the SUV was killed. Two coaches and the bus driver were treated at the hospital and released.

More than 20 people are dead, some 30 others have been wounded in a suicide car bomb attack outside a hotel in Mogadishu, Somolia. The Al-Shabab extremist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The 2020 Summer Olympic Games are almost three years away, but that's not stopping Japan from getting excited about playing host to the games in Tokyo. Saturday, it unveiled a countdown clock marking 1000 days until the games began.
