Hundreds of protesters gathered at the Pennsylvania state capitol in Harrisburg to demonstrate against governor's stay at home order. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has announced he is extending the order until May 8th and plans to reopen the state's economy gradually.
The head of the World Health Organization is warning the worst still lies ahead in the coronavirus outbreak, even though many countries are starting to ease restrictive measures. The virus has infected nearly 2.5 million people globally. The death toll is more than 166,000.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau leads a nation in mourning after this weekend's shooting rampage in Nova Scotia left 19 people dead, including the gunman. There is no word on a motive. It's Canada's deadliest mass shooting in history.
