In what's believed to be a first in the United States, an entire town is being tested for the coronavirus, regardless of whether or not residents are showing any symptoms. The testing took place in the town of Bolinas, California, population 1600.

Bennie G. Adkins, who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroism during the Vietnam War, has died from complications from COVID-19. Adkins was awarded the medal by President Barack Obama in 2014 for heroism in a 1966 battle.
With the pandemic's death toll in New York city past 10,000, funeral directors, cemetery workers and others who oversee a body's final chapter are struggle to keep up. And with family members kept in isolation, many funerals now have no mourners on site.
