AP News:特朗普即将举行大型竞选集会

This is AP News Minute.
The director of the Tulsa Health Department says he wishes president Donald Trump would postpone a planned campaign rally because of recent increases in the number of coronavirus cases. The president plans to hold the rally at the 19,000-seat Bok Center on Saturday after months away from the campaign trail.

A Russian court sentenced American Paul Whelan to 16 years in prison on spying charges. The 50-year-old corporate security executive and Marine Corps veteran says he was set up. He was arrested in Moscow in December 2018 while in Russia to attend a friend's wedding.
Several hundred nurses gathered in Rome, releasing red balloons in a protest against the Italian government that they say has deserted them despite all the lives they saved during the pandemic. On the other side of the city, tour operators devastated by the shutdown, are demanding the government provide more financial backing.
And there are long lines across England as shops selling nonessential items welcomed customers for the first time since the U.K. was put into lockdown in late March. Shops must meet Britain's COVID-19 guidelines, that means lining up to enter, using hand sanitizers at the door and following a one-way traffic system inside.
