About 325,000 homes and businesses in Texas had no power on Thursday. It was three million a day earlier. Millions still have to boil water before drinking it.
Snow and ice are making many people in the U.S. wait for their COVID vaccinations. Appointments are being delayed or re-scheduled in a number of states because the weather is keeping the vaccine from getting there.
Some people seeking asylum in the United States will be allowed to enter, starting Friday. The number allowed in will be very limited, and US authorities are warning people interested in asylum not to head for the US-Mexico border.
