A court in Hungary has ruled that four men detained as suspected terrorists were in fact World War Two enthusiasts returning home as weapons were found with a metal detector. The men were arrested at the weekend as they drove back from the site of a wartime Tank Battle. But the judge in Budapest rejected this state prosecutor's request to remand the men in custody, saying there was no evidence they had links to terrorism.

A court in the US has convicted a man of murder after he shot dead his wife and posted a picture of her body on Facebook. The jury in Florida rejected Derek Medina’s arguments that he had acted in self defense. He is due to be sentenced in January. Laura Rebecca reports. Derek Medina said that his wife Jennifer Alfonso was threatening him with a knife when he shot her in their home in South Miami. He had admitted taking a picture of the body on his mobile phone, and uploading it on to the Facebook. He wrote that he was forced to kill her after years of physical abuse. But prosecutors successfully argued that the 27-years-old was cowering on the kitchen floor when she was shot. Miami Dade State Attorney Katherine Rundle said no family should ever have to see their daughter killed and then exhibited on the internet like some macabre trophy.
